Banda Aceh – Wakil Presiden RI, HM Yusuf Kalla, singgah di Lanud Bandara Sultan Iskandar Muda dengan menggunakan pesawat kepresidenan RI. Wapres singgah ke Lanud SIM untuk pengisian bahan bakar pesawat. Jadwal JK hari ini adalah melakukan perjalanan udara menuju Arab Saudi untuk melayat Alm Raja Arab Saudi.
Wapres didampingi istri beserta rombongan yang berjumlah 36 orang, tiba sekitar pukul 11:20 WIB.disambut langsung oleh Wali Nanggroe Aceh, Wakil Gubernur, Sekda, Wakil Ketua DPRA dan Wali Kota Banda Aceh serta para Kepala SKPA.
Wapres juga disambut oleh Pangdam IM, Wakapolda Aceh,Karo Humas dan Karo Umum serta Ketua Aceh Center, Zakaria Saman. Setelah pengisian bahan bakar sekitar 45 menit, Wapres dan Istri beserta rombongan kembali melanjutkan perjalanan ke Arab Saudi.
Selain melayat, Jusuf Kalla juga akan menghadiri acara pelantikan Raja Arab Saudi.
